About Nina Lai Jian Xian

Nina Lai Jian Xian is a senior associate of Shook Lin & Bok, Kuala Lumpur. Her areas of practice include arbitration, building, construction and engineering, dispute resolution, and privacy and data protection. She has a broad range of experience in advisory, drafting and counsel work on a variety of disputes. In 2021, she co-authored a chapter on the Law and Practice of Construction Law in Malaysia and contributed to the Malaysian chapter of CDR – Essential Intelligence: The Belt and Road Initiative. She is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb) and is currently the Honorary Secretary of the MIArb (2021–23).
