About Matthias M. Schweiger

Matthias M. Schweiger is a partner at Hogan Lovells who helps clients with liability matters, class actions and dispute resolution. He is the international lead of the firm’s Global Class Action practice and heads the German practice. Matthias focuses on advising manufacturers in the life sciences and consumer industries on the array of legal issues they face, including safety and cyber issues, recall, product compliance, pre-dispute strategy, liability defence and supply chain litigation. Matthias co-ordinates international litigation matters for clients, including litigation in the EU, the USA, Canada and South America. As a trial lawyer, he has handled court cases at all instances, including before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
