About John Friel

John Friel is a partner in Clifford Chance’s US litigation and dispute resolution practice. He represents corporate and financial institution clients in complex litigation and government enforcement actions. His practice focuses on antitrust, securities, and derivatives matters, both criminal and civil, and he has particular expertise in cross-border matters. John has represented clients in matters before a number of federal and state agencies, including the US Department of Justice, Antitrust Division; the US Federal Trade Commission; and the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission; as well as a number of enforcement agencies around the world.
