Federico Ruanova Guinea
is currently senior counsel at Baker McKenzie, and chair of its Mexican environmental practice group. He was principal of the firm from 2003 to 2017. Federico’s key practice areas are environmental impact permitting; risk evaluation and prevention; land use/zoning; air emissions permitting and compliance/climate law; water and waste water permitting and compliance; waste handling and disposal; site remediation; toxic, flammable and explosive substance permitting; occupational health and safety; administrative, civil and criminal litigation. He is a member of ANADE, the National Association of Corporate Attorneys – Environmental Committee. Federico is the author of a wealth of professional articles on the subject of environmental law in Mexico.
