About Pornapa Luengwattanakit

Pornapa Luengwattanakit leads the Competition group and co-leads the Customs and International Trade practices at Baker Mckenzie in Bangkok. In relation to trade competition issues, it can be confidently said that Pornapa is the only lawyer in Thailand from private practice who has had a major involvement in the shaping of the Thai trade competition landscape, particularly through her contribution as a member of the Ad-Hoc Committee Considering the Draft Trade Competition Act, reviewing and proposing amendments to the new Trade Competition Act that came into effect in 2017. Her advice ranges from internal audit and compliance review to defending complaints before the Office of Trade Competition Commission and merger control matters.
