About Maki Kawamura

Maki Kawamura is a partner of the real estate practice group at Baker McKenzie’s Tokyo office. She has more than ten years of legal experience and is fluent in English. Maki advises clients on real property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing, involving office, residential, commercial, retail and resort projects. She also assists Japanese clients investing overseas and handles the real estate aspects of cross-border M&A. Maki regularly advises cross-border clients on development, construction and leasing of multi-family properties, office buildings, hotels, data centres and manufacturing facilities.
