About Hans-Joachim Hellmann

Hans-Joachim Hellmann is a partner and head of SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz's competition practice group, with extensive experience in advising and representing clients in cartel cases before the European Commission and the German Federal Cartel Office, and German and European courts. He is regularly involved in landmark proceedings such as those involving wire harnesses, freight forwarding, bathroom fittings and pesticides and has extensive experience in conducting antitrust compliance programmes and internal audits. Hans-Joachim is one of the leading German practitioners in follow-on damage claim proceedings. In addition, he advises clients on all levels, from strategic planning to merger control proceedings.
