About Hubert de Vauplane

Hubert de Vauplane is the co-head of Kramer Levin’s alternative investment management and fintech practices. He advises on EU and French laws on banking and investment services regulatory matters, asset management and funds, insurance investment regulations and financial/securities litigation, e-money and payment services, and financial institution M&A. Hubert provides legal counsel on fintech, blockchain and crypto-assets. He also advises corporates, asset managers, corporate and investment banks and institutional investors in relation to the entire range of disintermediated financings. Hubert is a member of the EU Commission (ROFIEG) and the Financial Law Market Committee, and chairman of Paris Europlace’s FinTech Committee. He is also a professor at the Paris Institute for Political Sciences (IEP Paris).
