About Luis Vargas

Luis Vargas is the head of the Corporate and M&A practice at DLA Piper Peru. He focuses on local and cross-border corporate structures, corporate governance practices, and general contract negotiation. Luis also has extensive experience providing legal advice in reorganisation matters as well as on complex corporate transactions in national and international franchises and joint ventures. He has handled mergers and acquisitions mandates for local and foreign companies in various sectors, including construction, energy, real estate, retail and agriculture. Other key areas of his practice concentrate on foreign and local investment, advising fund managers on their investments in Peru.
