About Katherine M. Imp

Katherine M. Imp is a senior associate in DLA Piper’s transactional entertainment practice, with over ten years of experience representing production companies, studios and other stakeholders in the entertainment sector in the development, production, distribution and exploitation of motion picture, television, podcast, commercial and new media content. Before joining DLA Piper, Kate gained extensive experience as production counsel for scripted and unscripted audio-visual content, negotiating agreements for over 150 different productions. She is a member of Women in Film Los Angeles and a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Southern California (USC), the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and other colleges and universities in the Los Angeles area.
