Sylvette Y Tankiang is the managing partner of Villaraza & Angangco and also the head of the firm’s taxation department. She has special expertise in the fields of TMT, taxation, M&A, banking and finance, real estate, natural resources, and power and energy. She advises clients from multiple industries, including telecommunications, energy, banking and e-commerce. She has consistently been ranked by various legal publications, including Chambers and Partners (Global and Asia-Pacific). She was the former President of the Harvard Law School Association of the Philippines, the Harvard Club of the Philippines, and the University of the Philippines Women Lawyers’ Circle.
