About Astrid Ablasser-Neuhuber

Astrid Ablasser-Neuhuber is the head of bpv Huegel's competition & antitrust practice. She has been involved in almost all the important cases in Austria in recent years. Astrid has practised EC competition law in Vienna/Brussels for over two decades, and has represented clients in antitrust and merger cases before the Austrian and European competition authorities and the European courts. She has worked with several antitrust authorities, including the European Commission/Merger Task Force in Brussels. Astrid is a member of the board of the Austrian Federation for the Protection of Intellectual Property, vice-president of the Competition Law Commission of the UIA, and a member of Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht, the Vienna Bar Association and the LIDC.
