About Andrzej Kmiecik

Andrzej Kmiecik is a senior partner and head of the EU competition practice at Van Bael & Bellis. He focuses on all aspects of competition law, with particular expertise in merger control proceedings, cartel cases, distribution and licensing cases, and matters related to abuse of dominance. Andrzej represents clients before the European Commission, the EU courts and in national competition law proceedings. His experience in EU cartel investigations includes acting as defence counsel in Newsprint, Amino Acids (also on appeal), Carbonless Paper (also on appeal), Publication Papers, Fine Papers, Car Parts and Occupant Safety Systems.
