About Thomas Trettnak

Thomas Trettnak has been a corporate partner at CERHA HEMPEL since 2010. He is in charge of the firm’s CEE-wide M&A and restructuring practice, and specialises in venture capital, private equity and M&A, as well as insolvency and restructuring. His experience includes numerous cross-border M&A transactions, and advising numerous venture capital funds and private equity investors in the region. Thomas holds a doctorate degree in law from the University of Graz, an LL.M. from Northwestern Law School and a business degree from the Kellogg School of Management. Admitted in both Austria and New York, he is a frequent speaker at conferences and the author of numerous publications in his fields.
