About Martin Altschwager

Martin Altschwager is a partner and a member of Baker McKenzie’s pharmaceuticals and healthcare practice group in Frankfurt. Martin advises national and international clients on all aspects of European and German pharmaceutical and medical device law, covering market access, manufacture, distribution, promotion and advertising of medicinal products, medical devices and digital health services. Martin has significant experience in managing the regulatory aspects of large M&A transactions and corporate reorganisations of pharmaceutical companies and of manufacturers of medical devices and disinfectants. Martin is a graduate of the Universities of Mannheim, Marburg, and Virginia (US), has completed a comparative PhD thesis on European and US drug law and is the co-author of several life sciences publications.
