About Manuel Freitas Pita

Manuel Freitas Pita joined Morais Leitão in 2000 and became a non-equity partner in 2018. He is a member of the tax team. Manuel is the resident lawyer in charge of the firm’s Madeira office and of the company MLGT Madeira – Management & Investment, S.A. His main areas of practice include corporate and financial law, particularly mergers and acquisitions, and international agreements and securities law. Manuel has also developed an expertise in the incorporation and management of companies licensed to operate in the International Business Centre (IBC) of Madeira, as well as providing legal assistance to them.
