About Grainne Callanan

Grainne Callanan is a partner in the financial institutions group at Matheson and leads the firm’s Cork office, where she specialises in corporate and regulatory insurance. She has advised a wide range of leading domestic and international financial institutions on all aspects of financial services law and regulation, including authorisation and establishment, corporate governance and reorganisations, combined cross-border M&A, compliance and regulatory matters. Grainne is the co-chair of the International Bar Association’s organising committee for its 2020 Insurance Conference. She regularly lectures for the Law Society of Ireland and the Insurance Institute of Ireland.
