About Ciarán Moloney

Ciarán Moloney is an associate at Matheson who specialises in financial regulation and has strong experience in both the private and public sectors. Ciarán has advised payment and e-money institutions, banks, asset managers, insurers and intermediaries on a range of financial regulatory matters. He also spent four years with the Central Bank of Ireland in roles focused on policy development and supervision and spent some time working with regulated financial services providers, with a focus on risk and compliance. Ciarán’s background provides him with an excellent, holistic understanding of the regulated financial services market in Ireland.
