About Ramanathan Govintharasah

Ramanathan Govintharasah is the managing director of Gurbani & Co and has been a litigation and arbitration lawyer since 1989. He acts as lead counsel in civil litigation and international arbitration, and occasionally as arbitrator, in disputes involving insurance, including marine insurance; carriage of goods by sea, air and land; freight forwarding; international trade and investments; infrastructure construction projects; shipbuilding/sales; rig construction/sales; chartering; and all types of shipping casualties. He advises international law firms in the cross-border enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards in the ASEAN countries, India and China, and assists in setting up new corporate projects, companies, joint ventures, acquisitions, etc.
