About Andreas Gunst

Andreas Gunst is head of the energy law practice at DLA Piper Weiss-Tessbach. He has both in-house and private practice experience, and his practice areas cover the entire energy value chain, including: electricity-generation projects from conventional and renewable energy sources; electricity transmission, distribution, trading (both OTC and exchange) and supply; and related regulatory advice. Andreas acts as compliance officer for one of the Austrian transmission system operators; his clients include generators, energy traders, suppliers, banks, energy exchanges, market operators and industry organisations such as the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET). Most recently, Andreas has advised on the drafting of the EFET corporate PPA, the EFET EECS Master Agreement and the EFET UK ETS Allowance appendix.
