About Fran Faircloth

Fran Faircloth is a partner in Ropes & Gray’s data, privacy and cybersecurity practice. She represents clients handling complex data, privacy and cybersecurity matters across a range of industries. Recently, Fran has advised clients on issues of data protection, cyber-attacks and contact-tracing technologies following the COVID-19 outbreak. Fran assists clients in privacy and cybersecurity-related class action litigation and enforcement actions by the FTC, state Attorneys General, the SEC and other government agencies. She also advises on difficult data privacy, cybersecurity and information law questions involving data breaches, ransomware, online brand protection, social media, e-commerce and internet governance.
