About Erin Nealy Cox

Erin Nealy Cox is a partner in Kirkland & Ellis LLP’s Government, Regulatory and Internal Investigations group. Erin is a trial lawyer who represents corporations, board of directors, and executives in complex multi-jurisdictional disputes and previously served as United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas. In this role, she participated in and led several national initiatives and notably served on the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee (AGAC). Ultimately, Erin was asked by the Attorney General to chair the AGAC. She has a broad practice focused on matters arising from alleged violations of state and federal laws, including fraud, cybersecurity, public corruption, national security, workplace compliance, and issues involving board governance.
