About Theodoor Bakker

Theodoor Bakker is ABNR’s senior foreign counsel. He graduated from Leiden University in the Netherlands. He is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar and is a registered foreign lawyer under the Indonesian Advocates Law. Theo is an international commercial arbitrator registered at BANI, SIAC and HKIAC and has a decade of experience of sitting on international and foreign arbitral tribunals. He is a fellow of CIArb and vice chairman of ICC Indonesia’s Arbitration and ADR Commission. He has published articles on insolvency and cross-border investment issues. He was the coach to the University of Yogyakarta’s faculty of law team at the Washington, DC, finals of the William C Jessup Moot Court Competition in 2012.
