About Julián J Garza Castañeda

Julián J Garza Castañeda is a partner who specialises in banking and finance, M&A, capital markets, telecoms, and structured and project finance. He is an expert in complex securitisation deals related to infrastructure projects, and local and cross-border issuances of securities, including FIBRAs and CKDs. Julián is an expert in financing covering a range of industries, including telecom regulatory work, debt restructurings, and the structuring and implementation of equity funds, including in the real estate and infrastructure markets. His M&A practice expands to a variety of industries, including real estate, telecoms, financial intermediaries and infrastructure facilities. Julián has strong international experience; he regularly advises US and other international clients on their local operations or investments in the Mexican market. He worked in Chicago at Mayer Brown LLP and received his LLM from the University of Texas, where he taught Mexican business and commercial law. Julián has lectured on international financial law and financial intermediaries at the Universidad Panamericana. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Counsel.
