About Vinícius Pimenta Seixas

Vinícius Pimenta Seixas is a senior associate at Pinheiro Neto Advogados and has been part of the tax team since 2008. He focuses on the Brazilian and international tax aspects of public and private acquisitions, restructurings and joint ventures, tax planning for financial services companies and other multinational businesses, and tax aspects of securities offerings, derivatives and new financial products. Vinícius has been working on numerous major domestic and cross-border transactions in a diverse spectrum of industries, including banking and financial services, fintechs, hedge and private equity investment funds, real estate and retail. He received a JD equivalent from Fundação Getulio Vargas, São Paulo, in 2010, a certificate in finance, and capital markets from FIPECAFI and an LLM in International Taxation from New York University School of Law in 2016. He worked as a foreign associate in Mori Hamada & Matsumoto in Tokyo in 2016, and in the tax department of Stibbe in Luxembourg in 2017 and is admitted to practice in New York and Brazil.
