About Lucas Sant’Anna

Lucas Sant’Anna is a partner and co-ordinator of the public and regulatory law department at Machado Meyer. He has 20 years' experience in public tenders and administrative contracts, public work and services concessions and private-public partnerships, Administrative Improbity Law, Fiscal Responsibility Law and correlated subjects. Lucas frequently works on regulatory matters related to basic sanitation, mining, ports, airports, highways, railways, technology, innovation, transport, urban mobility, urbanism and heavy construction. He holds an LLM from the Columbia University School of Law in New York and an LLM in Public Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Law from the same university. He is a professor of Public Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais and has published several academic works in the field of public law.
