About Jamsheed Peeroo
Jamsheed Peeroo
is an arbitrator, an arbitration counsel and a dual-qualified barrister practising from Peeroo Chambers (Mauritius) and from 36 Stone Chambers (London & Singapore). He was trained at 3VB in London and started his career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Paris. Jamsheed has worked on numerous cross-border commercial, corporate (offshore) and investor-state arbitrations. He holds a PhD from the Sorbonne in Arbitration Law, which he teaches at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas. Jamsheed is a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration, a vice-president of the MARC Advisory Board, and a consultant to the Energy Disputes Arbitration Centre.
