About Efigénia Marabuto Tavares

Efigénia Marabuto Tavares joined PRA in 2014 as a trainee lawyer. Since 2021, she has been a senior associate of the Commercial and Competition team. She has significant experience in merger review processes, cartel investigations and related litigation. In addition, Efigénia has been heavily involved in the design, preparation, implementation, and follow-up of the civil liability lawsuit (private enforcement) in Portugal regarding the trucks cartel matter. Efigénia also has experience in horizontal and vertical agreements, abuse of dominant positions and state aid, representing national and international clients, including by implementing compliance programmes and providing ongoing support.
