Pravin Anand
is Anand and Anand's managing partner and head of litigation. Awarded the AIPPI Award of Merit, INTA’s President’s Award and recognised as the “Most Innovative Lawyer” for Asia Pacific by the Financial Times, Pravin has appeared in 2,500-plus cases in over 42 years' practice as an IP lawyer. He has to his credit lawsuits transforming the Indian IP enforcement regime, and has engendered many firsts in all facets of IP, including trade secrets. He is the author of "Halsbury’s Laws of India on Intellectual Property", the India chapter in "Trade Secrets Throughout The World" and several leading IP publications. Pravin engages extensively in spreading the message of IP through the Raj Anand Moot Court Competition (since 1997), an IP board game (Anaryst), an IP-themed play ("Brainchild") and an IP Comic ("Adventures of Mr IP").
