About Vaibhav Choukse

Vaibhav Choukse is a partner and heads the competition law practice at JSA. He focuses on complex enforcement (cartel leniency and abuse cases) and merger control cases. He represents and advises clients on a broad range of competition law issues spanning across several sectors. On the merger control side, he has successfully advised and obtained approvals from the CCI for complex transactions in both the Form I and Form II formats, including Multiples Private Equity/BDR Pharma, Teleperformance/Intelenet, IBM/Kyndryl Holdings, Ford Motor Company/Mahindra & Mahindra, Goldman Sachs/ReNew Power (SPAC), Teleperformance/Intelenet and Trafigura/Essar Oil. He is recognised as one of India’s leading competition lawyers by Chambers & Partners.
