Kai Li
is a partner at Fangda who is renowned for his liquidation, insolvency and restructuring practice, as well as for commercial litigation and arbitration. He has a reputation for being detailed and considerate, especially when representing investors, creditors and creditors’ committees. Equipped with insight into China’s legal, economic and political frameworks, he has also successfully handled a number of restructuring proceedings on behalf of the Chinese government. In addition to being admitted to practise law in China, he is a registered member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as vice-director of the Liquidation and Bankruptcy Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association and as secretary of the M&A and Restructuring Club of the Global Finance Leaders' Forum.
