About Yun Sung Kim

Yun Sung Kim is an associate at Lee & Ko and a member of the firm’s Environmental Law practice group. She advises a broad range of clients on environmental matters related to regulatory compliance, renewable energy projects and climate change issues. Ms Kim became a member of the Korean Bar Association in 2019, and formerly worked as an environmental specialist for over ten years. She began her career at a top-tier environmental consulting firm founded by graduates of MIT, her alma mater, where she earned a PhD in Geoenvironmental Engineering. She subsequently gained further experience working as a research fellow at the Korea Environment Institute.
