About Hyunkoo Kang

Hyunkoo Kang is a pre-eminent expert on traditional financial regulations and compliance, and also in digital finance and blockchain. Prior to joining Lee & Ko, he served as financial compliance legal counsel for the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS). Hyunkoo participated in preparing a full amendment to the Electronic Financial Transactions Act as a Member of the Electronic Financial Transaction Act Policy Improvement Committee of the Financial Services Commission. He also recently participated as a Member of the Enforcement Review Committee of the FSS, broadening his expertise in various financial IT sanctions.
