About Kyung Hoon Lee

Kyung Hoon Lee is a partner at BKL who focuses his practice on white-collar criminal defence and litigation in matters involving securities, finance, tax and construction/real estate. Prior to joining BKL, he served as a public prosecutor for 15 years at various district prosecutor’s offices, focusing on special investigation and financial crime investigation. Since joining BKL in 2011, he has represented corporate clients in criminal matters involving mergers and acquisitions, the restructuring of financial institutions, financial regulations, approvals of financial institutions, capital markets and corporate finance, asset management and collective investment. He has served as a member of the Financial Services Advisory Committee under the Financial Supervisory Service since 2012. Based on his experience, Kyung Hoon co-authored and published a "Study on Securities Crimes" in 2012.
