About Sharif Bhuiyan

Sharif Bhuiyan is an advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and a founder partner and deputy head of Dr Kamal Hossain and Associates. He was co-rapporteur of the trade law committee of the International Law Association (2009–14) and a visiting fellow at the University of Cambridge (2006). Sharif is the author of National Law in WTO Law (Cambridge University Press, 2007) and the co-editor of International Law and Developing Countries (Brill Nijhoff, 2014). He has acted as lead counsel in many project finance matters, including multibillion-dollar transactions in the energy, infrastructure, telecommunications and various other sectors.
