About Matt Hedigan

Matt Hedigan is based in Walkers' Ireland office, where he is a partner in the asset finance group, specialising in all aspects of the financing and leasing of aviation assets. Matt advises private equity investors, operating lessors, financial institutions and airlines on a wide range of tax-efficient leasing and financing structures, including platform establishments, warehouse financings, joint ventures and transportation business acquisitions disposals. In addition, Matt has a strong structured finance background with particular emphasis on cross-border debt capital markets transactions, including aircraft securitisations and loan portfolio financings, acquisitions and restructurings. He regularly advises on Irish and EU financial services and securities law, including the Prospectus Directive, EMIR, AIFMD, MiFID, Market Abuse and the Securitisation Regulation. Matt is a member of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland and the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.
