About Judd Lurie

Judd Lurie is a partner in the Competition Practice team at Bowmans with experience practising in both South Africa and the UK. He is a specialist in all aspects of competition law, and his expertise extends across the entire African continent. He regularly advises on high-profile transactions requiring multi-jurisdictional filings and prohibited practices. These include advising Ardagh Glass in respect of its acquisition of Consol Glass, South Africa’s most significant glass producer, as well as PepsiCo on its USD1.7 billion acquisition of Pioneer Foods. The acquisition was one of PepsiCo’s largest outside the US. Judd has authored articles for a variety of local and international publications and regularly presents at competition law conferences.
