About Sonia Xavier

Sonia Xavier is a partner at Venture Law who advises major institutional clients as well as global business companies, private equity firms and investment funds, amongst others. She has a broad corporate and commercial practice that covers M&A, joint ventures, private equity, capital markets and corporate finance. Sonia’s expertise extends to assisting in the structuring, formation and management of private equity funds, and she has acted for a range of investment managers, from well-established to start-up managers. Sonia also has extensive experience with project financing, private placements and public offerings, as well as securitisation. She was admitted to the Bar in Mauritius in 1997.
