About Pablo J. Alliani

Pablo J. Alliani is a partner at Bomchil, where he leads the oil and gas practice. He joined Bomchil in November 2020, after 25 years as leader of Alliani & Bruzzon’s international energy practice. He has counselled international oil and gas majors and independent utilities companies in oil and gas contract negotiations, regulatory matters, M&A and new infrastructure projects, and assisted one oil and gas major in the largest development in Vaca Muerta so far. Pablo was chair of the Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Law of the International Bar Association, President of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) from 2011–2012 and served on the AIPN Board for ten years. He holds a JD degree from University of Buenos Aires and an LLM from Southern Methodist University, and was a foreign visiting attorney with Baker Botts LLP.
