About Rafael Lacaz Amaral

Rafael Lacaz Amaral is one of Kasznar Leonardos’ senior partners and an experienced counsel and litigator before courts nationwide. He provides consulting services on licensing agreements, patents, trade marks, copyrights, and unfair competition, as well as trade mark prosecution, arbitration and mediation in the IP field. He is also the head of the firm’s anti-piracy and compliance team, with a special focus on the software and entertainment industries. He is a regular guest professor of IP law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and the Getulio Vargas Foundation.
