About Sarpong Kwaku Odame

Sarpong Kwaku Odame is a partner and heads Ferociter’s transactions and advisory practice group, which includes the firm’s energy and natural resources practice. Sarpong has gathered a lot of experience working on cross-border transactions, conducting extensive legal due diligence in respect of projects and asset acquisitions and advising on complex financing and corporate structures. Before joining Ferociter, Sarpong worked in a leading Accra firm, where he co-headed the Firm’s Transactions and Strategic Advisory Group. His clients include market participants across the energy supply chain. His experience includes advising Ghandour, Engie, Tysilio and Ecoligo on the regulatory aspects of setting up in the renewable energy sector in Ghana. He was also part of the team that advised Amandi Power on how to satisfy the local participation requirements for companies in the electricity supply industry. His core practice areas include energy, corporate law, M&A, finance, banking and fintech. Sarpong is a member of the International Bar Association and the Ghana Bar Association.
