About Marco Schoups

Marco Schoups is a partner and head of the Construction Law team at Schoups. Marco brings over 35 years' experience in both real estate and construction sector disputes, arbitration and mediation, as well as the full range of real estate and construction project development counsel. Marco is a chief editor of the Construction Law Manual, one of the most comprehensive publications on Belgian construction and real estate law. Since 2021, Marco has been a lecturer in construction law at the University of Leuven. In 2021, he was appointed Director of the board of the Belgian Arbitration Institute. Marco is a registered mediator.
