About Pieter Paepe

Pieter Paepe is an attorney-at-law at the Brussels Bar and partner at Edson. Pieter focuses on Belgian and European business law, competition law and regulatory matters. Pieter assists numerous clients with Belgian gaming law in contentious and non-contentious matters. He also advises and represents gaming clients in competition and state aid matters. He has handled cases before the ECJ, including on the Belgian government’s behalf. Pieter served as research assistant at the Centre for European Law of the Free University of Brussels. His research on European constitutional law continues to benefit his clients and has helped him create ground-breaking precedents before the ECJ.
