About Mitsuko Miyagawa

Mitsuko Miyagawa is an attorney-at-law admitted in Japan and New York, a graduate of Harvard Law School, and a senior partner in the IP practice group of TMI Associates, especially known for her strong expertise and creativity in handling difficult cases for protection of bands, designs and copyrights. She has served as a member on various governmental committees related to IP rights. She is currently serving as a member of the Customs Dissatisfaction Review Committee and IP Subcommittee of the Ministry of Finance, and the IP Centre of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations. Her professional memberships include the IBA, IPBA, INTA, AIPPI, ABA, JFBA, JTA and JAA. She is widely published.
