About Nazlı Dereli Oba

Nazlı Dereli Oba is a partner focusing on energy, shipping, banking and finance, and arbitration. She has worked with clients in M&A transactions, project finance, IPOs and energy-related transactions, and has acted for banks and international energy companies. She has significant knowledge of shipping transactions, including sale and purchase of vessels, BIMCO standard agreements, ship mortgages as well as shipping disputes. She also has extensive experience in international arbitration including commercial disputes and investment disputes. She previously held the position of general counsel of Karadeniz Holding group companies for nine years. Nazlı is the honorary consul of Mexico at the city of Kocaeli, Türkiye.
