About Matías Pérez-Irazábal

Matías Pérez-Irazábal is a partner in the firm. Admitted to practice in 2004, for 17 years he practiced all IP aspects both in soft and hard IP. His work is focused on all aspects related to planning and protection of intellectual property, advising, attending and solving the needs of clients in Venezuela and abroad. He has extensive experience in areas including trade marks, copyrights, and intellectual property rights. He is a former President and current board member of the Venezuelan Industrial Property Agents Association, member of the INTA Anticounterfeiting Committee, and of INTA, AIPPI and AIPLA. He is a regular speaker at intellectual property conferences.
