Jose Maria Alfin
started his career working for the European Commission and was later appointed General Counsel of General Motors RFC Iberia. In 2008, he relocated to Andorra and was appointed General Counsel of Andbank. He worked for several years at Cases & Lacambra as a partner in charge of the tax department before setting up Fintax Andorra at the end of 2020, with three core areas: tax, residences and immigration; corporate, commercial and banking and finance; and new technologies, blockchain, cryptocurrencies and digital economy. Jose Maria is the lecturer for the Tax Compliance Programme at ESADE Business School in Barcelona, and is regularly invited to speak at business schools, professional associations, banks, family offices and other specialist forums about tax compliance, international tax, CRS, BEPS and related matters. He is admitted to practice in Spain and Andorra and is a member of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors, the Andorran Association of Tax Advisors, the International Fiscal Association and the Association of Financial law.
