About Shafimana Shimakeleni

Shafimana Shimakeleni is a senior associate at SNC Inc. He specialises in: oil and gas law; energy law; administrative law; stakeholder engagement; and drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements. He also represents clients in the Lower and Higher Courts of Namibia. He has developed an interest in downstream energy law, focusing on the regulation of electricity networks and the liberalisation of energy markets in developing economies. He holds a Master's degree in oil and gas law with professional skills (distinction) from the University of Aberdeen, is a member of the Association of Energy Negotiators (AIEN) and serves on the AIEN Hydrogen Task Force and the AIEN ESG Taskforce.
