Fernanda Garza
has been a counsellor at Basham, Ringe & Correa, S.C. Mexico’s office since 2020, where she currently focuses on antitrust law. She also has had a lengthy career in international trade law. She represents national and international clients in investigations and trial-like proceedings regarding cartels and abuse of dominance, proceedings regarding barriers to competition and essential facilities processed by the Federal Economic Competition Commission (COFECE) and the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT), as well as the litigation processes before constitutional courts (amparo trials) against the resolutions issued by COFECE. She also represents clients in M&A notifications before COFECE and advises clients on broader antitrust topics.
