About Nicholas Okafor

Nicholas Okafor is the head of Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie’s energy and infrastructure practice and a member of the firm’s banking and finance, capital markets and project finance teams. He is particularly skilful in raising capital for clients, whether by debt or equity, in the international capital market using Eurobonds and other instruments, the Nigerian capital market or through syndicated or bilateral bank loans. Nicholas has written and co-authored several articles for reputable journals on the Nigerian power sector and taking security by Nigerian banks. He is a member of the Faculty of Commercial Law Development Services, which provides training for lawyers and corporate executives.
